MOTIA™
A 3-day wilderness experience that forges men of character, courage, and conviction—equipping them to become the mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical protectors of their wives, girlfriends, and families.
Each year hundreds will apply — only 36 will be selected
IRON IS FORGED UNDER PRESSURE
MOTIA™ — Men of The Iron Anvil — is not a retreat. It's a forge. It's Coach Mitch's international award-winning book, "Mastering Masculinity", brought to life through an immersive experience. Over a three-day camping outing, men are stripped of comfort and distraction and put through a structured, bonding experience designed to reveal and build character.
You will learn. You will train. You will be challenged. You will leave with brothers who have stood beside you under pressure. You will gain both self-defense AND life skills that are real, tested, and yours forever. Your family will benefit greatly from the "new you".
THREE DAYS. THREE PHASES.
Each day of MOTIA™ is structured around a specific theme — Arrival & Assessment, Forging, and Bond-Building (Brotherhood). Every phase builds on the last. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Arrival & Assessment
“Who Are You?”
Day one strips away the noise. You arrive, set up camp, and immediately begin physical and mental assessments. Fireside bonding. No phones. No excuses. Just you, the wilderness, and the men beside you.

WHAT MOTIA™ BUILDS
Identity & Purpose
MOTIA™ confronts three questions every man must answer: Who am I? What is my purpose? Who will I choose to be?
Self-Defense Skills
Real-world H2H Combat skills, and situational awareness techniques taught in an outdoor environment where conditions are never perfect.
Brotherhood
The men you train with become lifelong brothers. Shared hardship creates bonds that don't break. You will have brothers that you can call on at any time, for life.
Leadership
Scenario-based challenges force men to lead, follow, and communicate under pressure — skills that transfer directly to family and career. Learn to use masculinity for its intended purpose, protection and provision.
The Symbol of M.O.T.I.A
The Iron Anvil
An anvil stands firm under pressure. A man of character remains steady when life, adversity, and responsibility strike him from every direction.
Resilience
An anvil is not fragile. It absorbs tremendous force without breaking, symbolizing resilience in the face of hardship, criticism, and challenge.
Influence
An anvil exists to shape others. Just as iron is formed upon the anvil, a man's influence helps shape his family, children, community, and future generations.
Foundation
An anvil provides a stable foundation. A strong man creates security, consistency, and dependability for those who rely on him.
Conviction
An anvil does not move every time it is struck. A mature man is guided by conviction and principles, not by emotions, opinions, or circumstances.
Transformation
An anvil helps transform raw metal into useful tools. A man helps transform potential into purpose, both within himself and within others.
Growth
An anvil bears marks from every strike. The scars, failures, and experiences of a man become evidence of growth, wisdom, and endurance.
Service
An anvil serves rather than seeks attention. Though essential to the work, it rarely receives recognition. Likewise, true manhood values service over applause.
Self-Mastery
An anvil must be strong before it can strengthen others. A man must develop discipline, integrity, and self-mastery before he can effectively lead and protect.
Presence
An anvil supports the work of the hammer. A man understands that strength is not always expressed through action; sometimes it is expressed through unwavering presence and support.
Refinement
An anvil is forged before it can forge. Before a man can lead others, he must first endure his own refining process of hardship, accountability, and growth.
Wisdom
An anvil does not create chaos. It directs force. A strong man controls power rather than being controlled by it, channeling strength with wisdom and purpose.
Legacy
An anvil lasts for generations. A man's legacy is measured not by what he accumulates, but by what remains after he is gone.
Purpose
An anvil helps create weapons, tools, and works of beauty. A man should possess the strength to fight when necessary, the skill to build when possible, and the wisdom to know the difference.

BUILT ON THE RESOLVE™ FRAMEWORK
MOTIA™ develops the qualities women value most in a man: composure, leadership, self-control, and the ability to protect without creating unnecessary conflict. Through the RESOLVE™ Framework, developed by Military Veteran and former Government Intelligence & Terrorism expert Mitch Harris, men learn to manage themselves first, navigate conflict wisely, and act decisively when required. The outcome is a man who is not only better prepared for danger, but better equipped to make his wife or girlfriend feel secure, respected, and protected every day.
Core Philosophy
Control yourself. Adapt your response to the threat. Use communication when possible, decisive action when necessary, and disengagement whenever safely available.
Regulate Yourself
Evaluate the Threat
Set Boundaries
Offer a Safe Way Out
Launch Your Defense
Vacate the Danger
Engage Help & Recover
RESOLVE™ is a decision framework, not a checklist you must finish in order. A safe exit does not require a conversation; an immediate attack does not require completing the verbal stages. Its purpose is to limit harm and support escape — not punish an aggressor or prolong a fight.
